It's not a bad game for sure but it's more of a chill bro shooter that is fun for an afternoon with friends. I can only handle so many open areas with five hundred kleers and infinite rockets.
No more are you up close dodging around enemies and rockets because everything is faster than you, no more do you have to know exactly what enemies to prioritise and the most efficient way to kill them while making sure you don't rely too much on a single weapon and run out of ammo.īFE is just so unbearably boring compared to the first two. On the most surface level it seems like Serious Sam but without what actually made the first two fun. If things get to spicy you can run faster than all but kleers so just run away.īFE is painfully easy compared to the original games, it's just a grind. BFE tends to boil down to pure spectacle, sit there and shoot a wall of respawning enemies until you are allowed to leave. Add sprinting even though it messes up the balance making kamikazes a non threat.
